Trying to improve the Ferrari Luce, Vossen and Karanadivi have teamed up on a new rendering that lowers the car and adds aftermarket styling elements. The result combines Vossen’s G2-13T wheels with a rendered body kit and spoiler in an effort to give the Luce a more appealing appearance.
Trying a New Look With Vossen Wheels
The Ferrari Luce has drawn mixed reactions, with phrases such as “beauty is in the eye of the beholder,” “we don’t get it,” and “wait-list ticket” used to soften criticism of its design. Despite those reactions, the Luce still found buyers after its troubled launch, showing that there are clients for the car.
Now, aftermarket brands are trying to give the Luce a different look. Vossen and Karanadivi joined forces in a post featuring Vossen’s G2-13T wheels and Karanadivi’s rendering work, lowering the Luce and adding several visual changes.
Vossen G2-13T Wheels Lower the Luce
Vossen is known for high-end forged wheels with fitment options for hypercars, supercars, luxury cars and more. The company’s G2-13T wheel takes inspiration from legendary rally designs while using modern materials and techniques.
Vossen describes the G2-13T as the “next evolution of Duoblock.” The wheel is essentially a two-piece forged-aluminum design, with custom configurations and sizes available from 18 inches through 22 inches.
The G2 series launched late in August this year, and it has now been rendered on a Ferrari Luce. The wheels appear to help the car’s overall look, while the lowered stance complements its visual weight.
Rendered Body Kit and Spoiler
While the Vossen wheels can be purchased in real life, the body kit shown on the Luce is only a rendering. The complete rendered kit includes a front lip, side skirts and rear diffuser, along with a spoiler.
CGI artist Karanadivi created the rendering for Vossen. From the side, the modified Luce presents a different appearance, with the body kit, spoiler, lowered stance and new wheels working together.
The changes offer Luce owners another potential direction for customizing the car. Despite the criticism surrounding its design, the brand met its sales targets for the Luce, while aftermarket brands continue to provide options for owners looking to make their cars look different.
